The CUILLIN Munros - something really special.....
Although the central focus of this six-day course is to ascend all twelve Munros on Skye, there will be an on-going theme aimed at providing the skills necessary for safe and enjoyable travel across all mountainous terrain. Topics such as route selection, navigation and non-technical rope-work will be covered during the course.
A typical itinerary is shown below - however there are many variations dependent on weather and fitness. All being well we climb the 12 Munros in 5 days so the 6th day gives us a reserve. Although previous mountain experience is preferred, it is not essential as all the Skye Munros are attainable by relatively fit and determined walkers - with a head for heights!
