Getting to La Grave - Travel options:
By Air: The nearest airport is Grenoble-St Geoirs(Isere) from where a short transfer by bus (navette) can be taken to Grenoble centre and then onwards travel to La Grave by bus (see below). However, Lyon airport is only 15 mins further away and has more regular flights in summer. Lyon airport also has a regular, direct navette (1hr) to Grenoble central bus station. The number of flights vary during to the season (with more in ski season). Other options include Chambery, Geneva and Turin airports. Both Easyjet and Ryanair service these destinations.
By Train/Bus: Grenoble can be reached on the highspeed TGV train from Paris is around 3hrs! From Grenoble there is a bus to La Grave (LER 35 to Briancon) or more regular buses to Bourg D Oisans (line 3000/3030) from where a pick up can arranged.
By Road: La Grave is on Route National N1091 being 75km east of Grenoble and 35km west of Briancon via the Col du Lautaret. Grenoble is well accessed via peage motorway from both Lyon to the northwest and Geneva/Annecy to the north. Briancon can be reached from Italy (Turin) by motorway and then the Col de Montgenevre. Le Chazelet is 5km by road from La Grave being situated 400m higher up the hillside.

Prices for the main treks include all guiding, accommodation, most meals except personal hill food and travel once at La Grave. Flights (and any additional accommodation/travel en route to La Grave) are not included. Pricing for private guiding days start at 200 euros per day with reductions for multiple days more than 3.
Group size for any trek is kept small (unlike many other trek operators) ranging from 4-6 people. The quoted price is based on 4 people which is the minimum for any trek to run - however for a small surcharge smaller group sizes are possible.
Accommodation on the treks is in excellent mountain huts and gites. For private guiding and other trips accommodation can be hotel or self catering depending on preference.
To secure any booking a non-refundable deposit of 50% total is required. Payment can be made by bank transfer or UK cheque (or Euros).
