Alpes Maritimes & Cote d Azur
The southern section of the French Alps extends right to the Mediterranean and hosts a great range of mid/easy level mountain and coastal walks. Although not as high as the Ecrins and Mont Blanc regions there are walks to suit all levels and the Mercantour Park offers peaks to 3000m.
